You Capture: Vehicles

I feel we rely on vehicles too much.  I’m guilty.  This week, I started parking farther away from stores when running errands just to get a little more walking in each day.  Small steps, but it is a step in the right direction.  So, what I wanted to share was a story where vehicles aren’t much help.

Whenever we head up North, there is always a Patsy project.  Always.  She’ll find me and my mom and say, “I’ve got a project.”  This year was no different.  Her daughter, Susan, needed some small pine trees to be able to decorate a float for the upcoming 4th of July parade.  So we climbed into the gator and off we went.  Because a gator is about all that’s going to get you anywhere when your path looks like this.

The problem is, the gator can only get you so far when the road ends like this.

Then we have to resort to a new vehicle.  OUR FEET!

Who says woman can’t be lumberjacks?  You don’t know? Me either.

Back to the gator.

Load up the gator.

I’ve entitled this one, can’t see the gator for the trees.  Haha.

I’m afraid I’m guilty of not using my God given vehicle (my feet) nearly enough!
